The privacy policy description is divided into “Collection and processing of personal data” and “Anonymous data and cookies.”

There are two types of information that the organic farm “Karotites”  and website www.origanic.eu can collect about you:

1. “Personal data”
2. “Anonymous data and cookies.”

Its elemental composition consists of organic grains grown right here in Latvia. Organic farm “Karotītes” products can be purchased in the most prominent Latvian stores (Rimi, Stockman, Sky, etc.) and markets.Organic farm “Karotites” sells its products on the Internet at www.origanic.eu and delivers them.What personal data do we process? “Karotites” obtains the following personal data of customers:1.     name and surname,2.     e-mail,3.     telephone number4.     residential address (country, city, street, apartment number, and postal code),5.     company name,6.     information about purchases made by the customer. 

For what purposes is the data obtained, and what is the legal basis for its processing

Organic farm “Karotites” processes customers’ data to administer customer purchases and deliver them. In addition, to send marketing e-mails with special offers to the customer, promotions, and news.

Marketing emails and messages are sent with the customer’s consent only. If the customer does not want to receive marketing e-mails or letters, this will not prevent the customer from receiving other services provided by the Organic farm “Karotites”.

When placing an order, the customer provides basic information about himself (name, surname, e-mail, phone number, residential address).

Organic farm “Karotites” processes the data provided by the customer for communication purposes, to fulfil the order, and to provide the customer with the latest news and information.

In all types of data processing carried out by organic farm “Karotites”, the client obtains the data.

The obtained information is processed legally by the organic farm “Karotites”. It is used to implement the purposes mentioned in this privacy policy only. In no case will the customer’s information be used for other purposes unrelated to this privacy policy.

 

Disclosure of Personal Data

Personal data is not transferred or used outside the operations of the organic farm “Karotītes”, except for cooperation partners of the organic farm “Karotītes”, based on a contract for the implementation of the purposes mentioned in this privacy policy only.

To fulfill its legal obligation, organic far, “Karotites” has the right to transfer the customer’s data to law enforcement and state and local government authorities at their request, if provided by any of the regulatory enactments. Organic farm  “Karotītes” can transfer customers’ data to law enforcement authorities and state and local government authorities to defend their legal interests by the procedures specified in regulatory acts.

Where the customer’s data is processed

Organic farm “Karotites” processes customer data in the EU/EEA. Customer data is not processed or sent to a country outside the EU/EEA.

Confidentiality is essential for the organic farm “Karotites”, so we use appropriate technological and organizational measures to protect the personal data provided by customers. The organic farm “Karotites” security procedures comply with the applicable laws and regulations governing personal data protection. Data storage period

We store the customer’s data (name, surname, e-mail, phone number, residential address, company name, and information about the customer’s purchases) if the customer’s profile on the website is valid or until the customer chooses to withdraw consent to data processing.

Suppose the customer has not created a profile on the website and placed an order without one. In that case, the data is stored for five years from the moment of the first order or until the moment the customer chooses to withdraw consent to data processing.

Personal data of customers, the processing of which is determined by a good regulatory act, is stored until the end of the term specified in the regulatory action, and such data will not be deleted at the customer’s request.

Customer rights

According to the current laws and regulations governing the protection of personal data, customers have the following rights:

1. the right to restrict the processing of personal data,
2. the right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data,
3. the right to access personal data,
4. the right to correct or delete customer personal data from organic farm “Karotites” unless organic farm “Karotites” has a legal basis to continue processing the customer’s data.

If the customer notifies organic farm “Karotites” about the desire to exercise one of these rights, then organic farm “Karotites” will respond to the customer’s request within a month.

The customer can contact organic farm “Karotītes” to obtain information about the personal data of customers held by an organic farm “Karotītes”, to confirm or correct them. Customers have the right to request the deletion of the customer personal data held by the organic farm “Karotites”.
